9th & 9th: Salt Lake City, Utah

The 9th & 9th Business District, located in the eastern portion of Salt Lake City at the intersection of 9th East and 9th South, is a collection of unique, eclectic, and family friendly businesses. Home to boutique shops, farm to table cuisine, great treats, movies, and more, 9th and 9th is the heart of “hip.” b2 and Company provided the leasing services for this one of a kind neighborhood project in our backyard!

North Creek: Denver, Colorado

The Shops at NorthCreek are an integral part of the contemporary urban lifestyle experience in Denver. NorthCreek features premier retail and dining space located below luxury residences. NorthCreek epitomizes the best of contemporary urban living with a full city block of retail and residential elegance. Located in the heart of Cherry Creek North, this new development will take center stage in shaping one of the metro area’s most desirable neighborhoods.

 

River Park: Fresno, California

Lance Kashian hired Beth to bring a lifestyle tenant merchandise mix to The Shops, which was being added to an established and vibrant big box project, River Park. The challenge was to create an authentic shopping experience amidst intense competition. Today, River Park is a top lifestyle destination, with preeminent shopping, dining and entertainment. Beth continues to bring top retailers to the Shops at River Park and enhance the center in Fresno.

Main Street: Park City, Utah

Three Thirty Three is ideally located in the heart of historic Main Street and surrounded by three world-class ski resorts. Three Thirty Three will provide the most desirable retail space available in the year-round tourist destination of Park City. The mall is a compilation of historic Main Street and prominent national retailers; it is instrumental in changing the face of Park City shops. Main Street’s contemporary dining, specialty retail and hip nightspots supplement the Three Thirty Three development.

 
The Domain: Austin, Texas

Located in the heart of Austin’s northwest corridor – sets new standards for destination shopping. With 600,000 square feet of retail, 2.3 million square feet of office, 3,200 residential units, and two hotels over retail – all in a lush and pedestrian-friendly, open-air setting – this project is redefining Austin’s urban lifestyle.

 
Arden Fair: Sacramento, California

Assisted in development and expansion of this 444,000-square foot center including pre-development work, bridge agreements, relocations and terminations; developing merchandise mix, handling lease negotiations and overseeing tenant coordination. Brought many new tenants to the market and significantly increased center sales.

Tyson’s Galleria: McLean, Virginia

Led the redevelopment of this 800,000-square foot upscale, mixed-use shopping complex located in the Tysons Corner area west of Washington, D.C. Renegotiated more than 50,000 square feet of existing leases, completed new leases totaling more than 100,000 square feet and directed marketing, public relations, and renovation. Center productivity increased from $260/sf to over $510/sf in 36 months. NOI increased 25% while the potential for a lower cap rate continues due to these enhancements.

 
Fashion Island: Newport Beach, California

b2 and company created a re-merchandising plan and vision to solidify Fashion Island’s niche in the changing Orange County market. b2 and company successfully introduced Fleming’s Prime Steak House, Roy’s Seafood, and such dynamic tenants as Lucky Brand Jeans, Ciel, J. Peterman, Bose, April Cornell, Chiasso, Christophe Salon, Waterworks and Subtle Tones to the Orange County market. As a result of the re-merchandising efforts, sales per square foot rose nearly eighteen percent (18%) during this two-year period.

 
The Shops at Old Town: Pasadena, California

The Shops at Old Pasadena is a mixed-use redevelopment project in the heart of the bustling shopping district of Pasadena, California, on Colorado Blvd. The project’s look and feel conforms to other buildings in the immediate area to maintain a historical continuity while also lending modern, retailer-friendly touches to what is arguably the best corner on Colorado Blvd. Framed in a beautiful structure with top notch, national names positioned in the epicenter of Pasadena, The Shops at Old Pasadena stands out as among the best venues the marketplace has to offer.

 
Hollywood & Highland: Hollywood, California

As part of the development team, b2 and company assisted the TrizecHahn Company with the leasing of a magnificent, multi-dimensional entertainment and shopping complex on the corner of Hollywood & Highland. b2 and company’s primary focus was helping TrizecHahn Company attract national, international and local shops and restaurants to this exciting marketplace. The project features over 450,000 square feet of retail space anchored by a 600-room luxury class hotel, a “state of the art” live performance premier theater, new movie theaters, and the renovated historic “Chinese Theater”.

 
The Gateway: Salt Lake City, Utah

b2 and company continues to work with Inland Real Estate Trust and the Boyer Company to further their strategic vision for the 725,000-square foot retail component of this large mixed-use development. The site, which is three outdoor blocks around Salt Lake’s historic Union Pacific Depot, is part of the city’s larger redevelopment master plan. The Gateway unites retail, restaurants, entertainment, cultural destinations, office, hotel and residential space to anchor the downtown core. The center opened in 2001 and b2 and company continues in the ongoing leasing and re-merchandising efforts for the existing center.

 
Pacific Place: Seattle, Washington

Pacific Place played a key role in the turnaround of downtown Seattle during the late 90’s. The 335,000 square foot shopping center is located between 6th Ave and Pine Street and home to five levels of fashion, food and film. Of note is the glass sky bridge on the third floor that connects Pacific Place to the Nordstrom Flagship store. In 2003, Beth was brought in to help upgrade the merchant mix. She successfully brought several new retailers to the development.

 
Clayton Lane: Denver, Colorado

Clayton Lane provides an intimate street setting that has been created within one of the most successful shopping districts that exists today.  b2 and company was hired to manage the leasing and merchandising strategy and implementation for this mixed-use project, which includes 134,000 square feet of specialty retail.  The Cherry Creek Mall anchors the south end of Clayton Lane and the tony shops of Cherry Creek North surround the remainder of the project.

The Forum at Carlsbad: Carlsbad, California

A 265,000-square-foot, specialty retail development located approximately 25 miles north of downtown San Diego in Carlsbad, California. The property serves the affluent communities of La Costa, Carlsbad, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar and Encinitas. With a tenant line-up of some of the country’s finest specialty retailers that are unique to the local market, The Forum Carlsbad is a favorite shopping destination within the targeted trade area, as well as with vacationers and business travelers from nearby fine resorts and hotels. 

The Collection at River Park: Oxnard, California

River Park is a 700-acre master planned community with 2800 residential units, 14 parks and 3 schools. At the heart of River Park is The Collection, a one-million square-foot commercial space with a lifestyle center and a carefully crafted assortment of emerging and established retail, distinctive dining, class-A office space, a 250-room hotel and signature entertainment venues. This lavishly landscaped urban environment and the lifestyle it will create will be a driving force in providing The Collection a true “sense of place”. The Collection is a compelling mixed-use district that will redefine the shopping experience in West Ventura County.

Campus Pointe: Fresno, California

Campus Pointe creatively combines the energy of a vibrant college atmosphere, the excitement of eclectic entertainment and dining options, and the enjoyment of having a variety of lifestyle retailers to serve the needs of the entire Fresno/Clovis community. 15,000 square feet of shops and restaurants are located along a new Main Street anchored by a 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art movie theater with 14 screens seating a total of 2,700 people. In addition to being the home of the Hyatt Place Hotel, Campus Pointe also offers over 500 residential opportunities and 30,000 square feet of office space.

Each year, over 1 million people enjoy a wide variety of events in California State University’s Save Mart Center making it one of the premier event centers on the West Coast, and the busiest collegiate arena in the world.

First & Main Town Center: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Norwood Development Company contracted b2 and company to create the premier lifestyle destination in Colorado Springs. b2 and company provides ongoing leasing and merchandising strategy of this 133-acre mixed-use commercial center with 865,000 square feet of planned leasable space, including 345,000 square feet of lifestyle oriented shopping, anchored by a 16-plex Cinemark Theatre and 3-D IMAX.

The Village at The Meadows: American Fork, Utah

Located in one of the fastest growing communities in the state of Utah, The Meadows development is one of the most successful commercial projects in the Mountain West.  The Village at The Meadows, a lifestyle projected located within The Meadows blends the ultimate in sophistication, style and design in its 530,000 square feet of retail space.

Shops Around Lenox: Atlanta, Georgia

b2 and company worked with Healey Weatherholtz Properties to reposition this hot property located at the apex of the Atlanta Financial Center, near the Westin and Neiman Marcus, and adjacent to the behemoth Lenox Square in the heart of the Buckhead area. Beth created a “compound atmosphere” of one-of-a-kind tenants. The Shops’ reputation is spreading as the place to be in Buckhead.

This type of project is the heart of b2 and company’s business plan going forward. Beth’s focus is to create these special shopping enclaves for every major market in the country – combining the “best of” a regional market with a development that is authentic to that trade area.
